1959 James Comet L1 with Villiers Mk.4F (hand
change) or Mk.6F (foot change) 2 speed gearbox. For 1957 - 59 this Maroon / Tropical Grey scheme was used. The alternative scheme was Martial Grey with Royal Blue tank panels double lined in gold. I believe the side panel transfers were introduced in 1957. See the exhaust system. |
