1963 - 64 James Comet L1 with Villiers Mk.6F
engine and foot change 2 speed gearbox. This is the final version of the Comet in Arden Green - a Francis-Barnett colour. By this time James and Francis-Barnett machines were all being made in the James factory in Birmingham. Francis-Barnett never made a 98cc equivalent to the Comet. Nor, by this time was this frame being used for any Francis-Barnett model. |
