I do not know if it is an original part or a reproduction but the quality seems very good.
This is similar to the switch used on the ML and rigid frame Comet, Cadet and Captain Standard models with direct lighting.

The switch has (from left to right) OFF - L - H positions.  The original switches had L - OFF - H positions but most people will never know the difference.
