Frame numbers were prefixed (1949) D.  (1950 - 51) C.  (1952) M.

Model announcement
"The Motor Cycle" 21 October 1948 (New James Lightweights, page 314) announced the Model 10D (Standard & Deluxe). 

"Motor Cycling" same date introduced the 122cc Standard & Deluxe. 

The name "Cadet" was not used until 1950.  The 1949 parts book refers to the Model 10D.
