James introduced a Comet model in 1932.  The D16 Comet had a 150cc twin-port James (not Villiers) engine.  Sparks were provided by a Lucas 6 volt dynamo.

It sold for £ 23-10s.

Lighting was provided as standard, as were the rear carrier and the legshields - a bargain.
