Homepage | Commodores were modified for Malaya |
The Commodore had to be modified for the Malaysian market. A big order for Malaya ran into trouble when it was found that the bike was too tall for the average Malayan rider. 16" wheels were fitted to lower the bike. Unfortunately all sorts of other parts had to be modified to suit. The stands had to be shortened and the front mudguard had to be reset to suit the smaller wheel In the end the order cost the factory a lot of time and trouble to keep the customer happy |
