1960 - 62 James Comet L1 with Villiers Mk.4F
(hand change) or Mk.6F (foot change) engine and two speed gearbox. For 1960 the paint scheme was Maroon with Tropical Grey tank top. For 1961 & 62 the scheme was Stromboli Red with Tropical Grey panel. Stromboli Red was a brighter more "cherry" red. Note the new, conventional exhaust silencer. Compare to previous system. |
