Frame numbering 1959.  BL25T-xxx.   1960.  CL25T-xxx etc.
   
Engine AMC 25C.  249cc. 66mm x 73mm.
Gears Four speed.
Frame Single downtube with swinging-arm rear.
Forks Telescopic.  Oil-damped.
Fork oil capacity 165cc per leg. SAE 50
Tyres Front: 21" x 2.75".  Rear: 19" x 4.00"
Tyre pressures Front 12 lbs.psi.  Rear 12lb. psi. (Road use)
Wheel rims Front: Dunlop WM1 36 hole.
Rear:  Dunlop WM3 36 hole
Ignition timing ¼" before top dead centre.
Points gap 0.018"
Plug gap 0.018" - 0.020"
Plug type Original spec. Lodge 2HLN
Carburettor AMAL Type 389.  1" bore.
Jet size Main jet: 240
Needle jet: 0.105"
Pilot jet: 30
Needle setting 2nd groove from the top.
Tank capacity 2¼ gallons approximately.  Use of unleaded fuel will cause no problems
Petroil mixture 20:1 as originally specified. Can be safely reduced to 24:1 with modern oils.
Gearbox capacity Remove oil level screw on side of engine casing and oil filler screw on top of casing.  Fill oil through the filler opening until oil begins to run out through the level plug hole. The correct level of oil is then assured.  Check it regularly.  Castrol "D"  SAE 140
Chaincase capacity Fill to level plug.
Chains Primary chain:  60 pitches.  ⅜" x ¼" x 0.225"
Final drive chain:  134 links  ½" x 0.355" x 0.305" wide 
Sprockets Engine: (crankshaft) 20 teeth  ⅜" pitch.
Gearbox (final drive) 15 teeth ½" pitch.
Rear wheel sprocket  60 teeth.
Brakes 6" front & rear
