Frame numbering 1963.  FM25R-xxx.  1964 GM25R-xxx
   
Engine Villiers Mk36A with Parkinson square fin barrel and head
Carburettor Amal 389
Gears Four speed
Frame Single downtube with swinging-arm rear.
Forks Norton
Tyres 2.75" x 21" front.  4.00" x 18" rear
Rims Front. WM1.  Rear.  WM3
Tank capacity 1½ gallons
Petroil mixture 20:1 as originally specified. Can be safely reduced to 24:1 with modern oils.
Gearbox capacity Remove oil level screw on side of gearbox casing and oil filler screw on top of casing.  Fill oil through the filler opening until oil begins to run out through the level plug hole. The correct level of oil is then assured.  Check it regularly.
Sprockets Rear wheel sprocket 75 teeth.
Brakes 6" front. 5" rear
