Early in 2013, when my programme for the year was advertised in the Vintage Motorcycle Club Journal, an ex-pat British member - Martin Halliwell -  living in Luxembourg contacted me to ask whether we would like to meet up for a BBQ at his house near Luxembourg City.  The arrangements were made and it was agreed that we would ride to his home and, in the afternoon he would lead us by a scenic route back to Larochette, where we could then get back easily to Vianden.

The meeting was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.  The weather was bright and sunny and, for the end of October, as good as anyone could have wished.

Martin has sent a clutch of photos and I am pleased to present them here in a gallery for all to enjoy.

I thank Martin and his wife for their friendship and hospitality in what was a memorable day out.
