Frame numbers were prefixed F.

Model announcement
I have no information on the announcement of this model but it was available from 1949.  Initially it was for export only but some were sold in the home market.  The distinctive feature was the front telescopic fork developed with Dunlop and using a rubber insert as the springing medium.  The forks are distinguished by the knurled, chromed caps at the top of each leg.
The forks were replaced by  the Model 5 type in 1950.
