James Trials rigid-frame Paint

Paint
Maroon throughout.
Wheel rims, saddle springs were silver painted (Argenize aluminium finish).
The saddle frame, speedo (where fitted) and tail-lamp body were black.

Plating
Chrome: Handlebars and levers, exhaust system, rear lamp bezel, headlamp nuts or bolts & rim, tank top strip, mudguard stays (1949 at least).

Polishing
The mudguards were polished.
