Frame numbering
Frame numbers were prefixed with a year /model code.  (1960) CSC1-xxx.  (1961) DSC1-xxx. etc.  The later 4-speed models had the prefix SC4.

Model announcement

Road tests
"The Motor Cycle" 16 February 1961(Skiing in Between, page 200) printed an a story of a journey to Chamonix (France).

"Motor Cycling with Scooter Weekly" 18 May 1961 (Common Sense on Two Wheels, Road test number 38, page 100).

"Motorcycle Mechanics" undated (Nothing Short of Fabulous, page 58) printed a report of a two-day test in the Welsh mountains.
