Paint
1957 - 59:
Maroon throughout with Tropical Grey tank panels double lined in gold (thick outer line, thin inner line with thin black line between.) Grey dualseat.
Alternative finish: Martial Grey  with Royal Blue tank panels (lined as above). Black dualseat.
Silver: Hubs, brake plates, brakes operating arms, speedo drive housing.
1960 - 62: Stromboli Red mudguards, side panels, chainguard, pump cover, tank centre stand, footrest hangers and headlamp shell.
Black: Forks, frame, swinging arm, rear suspension units, front mudguard stay.
Silver: Hubs etc as above. Black dualseat.

Plating
Chrome: Wheel rims, fork trim rings (lower half was painted 1957 - 59), headlamp bolts & rim, speedo & ammeter bezels, exhaust system, rear suspension unit inner covers, kickstart and gearlever, handlebars & levers, steering stem bolt, spring locating screws in top of forks, side panel fasteners.
1960 - 62: Chrome tank panels were fitted with a black plastic beading.
Cadmium: Nuts and bolts.

Polishing
The aluminium hub centres were polished
