Gears Two speed with clutch. Handlebar gear lever has "trigger".
Frame Single downtube with rigid rear.
Forks Taper tube girder type. Single, central undamped spring.
Tyres 2.25"x 21" Standard.
Tyre pressures Front 20 lbs.psi.  Rear 28lb. psi
Wheel rims Dunlop WMO 36 hole.  Silver painted (Argenized)
Ignition timing ⅛" before top dead centre.
Points gap 0.012" - 0.015"
Plug gap 0.020"
Plug type Original spec. Lodge H 14.  Champion J10 Com (USA)

Needle setting 29 / 32" from tip of needle to bottom of slide
Tank capacity 1½ gallons approximately.  Use of unleaded fuel will cause no problems
Petroil mixture 16:1 as originally specified. Can be safely reduced to 24:1 with modern oils.
Gearbox capacity Remove oil level screw on side of engine casing and oil filler screw on top of casing.  Fill oil through the filler opening until oil begins to run out through the level plug hole. The correct level of oil is then assured.  Check it regularly.  Castrol "D"  SAE 140
Chains Primary chain:  56 pitches.  ⅜" pitch x 0.155" wide x ¼" roller
Final drive chain:  ½" x 0.305" x 0.192" wide (Coventry 112045).  Tension movement max.   ⅜" vertical
Sprockets Engine: (crankshaft) 17 teeth x  ⅜" pitch.
Gearbox (final drive) 14 teeth ½" pitch
Brakes 4" front & rear
Spokes Galvanised. 12g.  (10g optional)  90° head
Bulbs: Direct Main headlamp bulb:  6v - 30 / 30w.
Tail lamp:   6v - 3 w
Parking lamp bulb: 3½v - 0.15amp
