Model announcement
"The Motor Cycle" 15 January 1948 (Two James Models, page 48) describes the autocycle for that year.

The Autocycle Deluxe was basically a prewar design that continued in production in late 1945 in the absence of anything new.  It used the Villiers Junior De Luxe 98cc engine in a typical autocycle frame.  It had a long slender "triangular" tank with distinctive flutes running down its length and simple sheet metal engine covers.
